Penny's Moving Day!
So, today was moving day. We’re off to the south – Mississippi. Yes, you read that right, Mississippi. Why you might ask? My husband, Nick was selected to start his training to become a pilot for the US Air Force. Not going to lie, we’re pretty excited about this opportunity and we were blessed enough to receive this particular location for him to train from for the next year.
So we packed up and made the drive stopping in Springfield, MO the first night. We found a great place to rest up and eat at — the Springfield Brewery. All and all it was pretty good.
Penny, our beagle pup is packed tightly in the car with us for this trip. She did great today. She slept most of the way and was pretty chill the whole time.
We also found out how much she LOVES air conditioning blasting her in the face.It’s definitely going to be interesting getting her acquainted with her new surroundings, but after all the traveling we’ve done with her in the past eight months, I’m imagining she’ll do just fine (feel free to leave me some tips, however).
Our second day should be a bit longer of a drive as we enter the wonderful state of Mississippi. Stay tuned for our grand entrance coming soon!
